Why we need to use PicMonkey?
First of all it’s FREE. It has a paid version with extra features. You can upgrade for just $3.33/mo for Royale Annual. But the free version has tons of features. And best part is, you dont need to download and install any software. You can start photo editing right in your web browser (No subscription $0)
Let’s get started
CHOOSE A PHOTO TO EDIT
There are four option you can upload your photo to the “Edit” option on the homepage. You can choose any one option: Computer, Hub, Facebook or OneDrive.

CROP THE PHOTO
Once you upload the photo, Basic Editor Screen will automatically open. Select “Crop” Option from the top left menu. Select appropriate option from No Fixed properties Drop Down. I would prefer “Square” from the Drop Down list. Next choose the dimensions for your photo. It depends on your requirement. Now you will see a Square box on the photo. You can adjust the box based on how much you want to crop. Click “Apply” when you are done.

APPLY THE EFFECT
Select the “Effects” Option from Left Menu. You will see lots of section and options for color effect. If you want to change the Black and White, scroll down to the Black and White section. Choose the Contrast filter color you want and click “Apply”.

CIRCLE THE PHOTO
Select “Frames” from the Menu. Select “Rounded Corners” at the top of the Menu and max out the Corner Radius. Check the box for Transparent Corners. And Click “Apply”.

Now, just save your photo as a .png file, by clicking on button on the top and you’re done!
